"Chickadee Flew South" Reading by Author, Brenna Lafond

Parkdale students in grades K - 4 were treated to a reading from local author, Brenna Lafond, March 18.  Ms. Lafond is a Parkdale parent and author of the book, "Chickadee Flew South."

Students were thrilled to have a real author read to them.  Ms. Lafond really impressed the students with her story and narration, giving each character their own voice!

Students learned the power of perseverance and believing in your dreams.

"Chickadee Flew South" is the first in a series of children's books by Ms. Lafond.

"Chickadee in Florida" is now also available, and "Chickadee goes to Australia" will be released soon!
